Do you get in modeb using the Slax disc for both Samsung and Hitachi drives or do you have to use the 0800 disc to get the samsungs drives in it? Is modeb the same for both drives?

UPDATE: Well just found out samsung doesn't have a modeb. I know I read that someone used the 0800 disc to get there samsung drive in modeb or somthing. Who knows, maybe they were as lost as I am.

ModeB is only for Hitachi. You can use the slax or cross wires trick to get into it. Toshiba/Sammy use the 0800 disc to enable flashing (unlocks the firmguard).
