Hey guys,
I already have an analouge surround sound system(with all the cables) and i was wondering if there is an adapter you can purchase to connect the xbox to it, thus saving my form having to buy a digital surround for it?

Thanks alot Guys

If by analog surround you mean Dolby Pro - Logic, then you don't need any extra cables for that. Pro - Logic uses the standard red & white RCA cables. Just change the Audio settings in the MS dashboard to Surround.

I think he's referring to the individual 6 part analog out's, like the crappy surround sound soundblasters and what not have, or the 3 stereo eigth inch outputs.....

and no, as far as I have seen, they don't exist. Lik-sang dosn't even have anything of the sort. You'll save yourself a bundle of rewiring by converting to a multi-in digital reciever though....just be sure to think ahead and get one with multiple digital coax and toslink....soon enough, thats what everything will be using.

Those are actually direct channel inputs/ouputs, which means you need a separate decoder. You will often see '6 Channel Direct Input' on recievers that are "Digital Surround Ready". Meaning they aren't actually capable of processing a surround signal, but if you have a separate decoder, then you can use the Direct Input to output the signals to your speakers.
