Xbox Live Error Codes Options

Got my console back from the repair centre last week...just tried to go onto live and got the following :

W : 0000 000B
X : 0000 0000D
Y : 00C2 0380
Z : 0000 0000

Called MS and within 5 mins was told to return it to the repair centre. The guy said over the past few weeks they had a few consoles with this error code and was probably caused when MS repaired the console.

Looks like its going back on Monday....another 2-3 weeks

At least he knew what was going on and didn’t take me though a long troubleshooting exercise.

[size=2]Hello guys.i got my xbox360 yesterday because i have sent it for repair,you know the usual 3 red lights.before the problem i logged on to xbox live using my Ethernet cable and modem.however,yesterday when i got my xbox the first thing i did was to put my ethernet cable and log in to xbox live but i couldnt. i ran the Test Connection. it passed all the tests except Xbox Live. i pressed more info and it said. "Technical Configuration Error: Please contact Xbox Customer support.i pressed Y to view the status code which is the following.

w 0000-000B
x 0000-f001
y 00c2-03co
z 0000-0000

Please someone tell me what i can do to fix that problem or something.

I have the same code but on the W line the code is 0000 000B

I am at my girlfriends with it and have literally just purchased it brand new. She is in halls at university and so there is no access to router settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I happen to have both problems, I get the first for when it's wireless and the second when it's wired.

W:0000-0021 X:0000-F0001 Y:0000-0000 Z:0000-0000 When it is wireless using the official MS wireless adapter.
and
W:0000-000B X:0000-F0001 Y:0000-0000 Z:0000-0000 When it is wired.

It always fails at the MTU but I have tried two different routers and checked both of them, the MTU for both is set at 1500.

I haven't been able to connect to xbox live for two months now T-T I'd be soooo thankful for any help.

banned from xbox live. system was banned before repair.

i jut got off the phone with xbox people, they said my console warrantee expired jan 1, 1900. i guess somewhere in the system when banned from modifying the system, it records the date as 1900.

i send my banned console in for repair and couldnt get on live because of these very similar if not exact codes.

they said i couldnt send it back in

maybe this could help in some way shape or form.

Just bought a wireless adaptor but am coming up with the following error code:

W: 0000-0021
X: 8001-1005
Y:0000-0000
Z:0000-0000


Any idea what they mean? Tried everything I can think of.

Dude if you figure it out I'd be ever so greatful if you posted it here.
There are only 2 highspeed ISPs where I live, I'm on the verge of switching to the other (if I even can : / ).
My xboxlive worked fine for almost 2 years, but now I haven't had live for 3months T-T
Whats odd is if I plug the xbox directly into the modem I get the exact same MTU error, it's unlikely it's the router becuase I've tried two different types.

Hope you resolve your problem as well.

Hi guys, new forum member but 360 user for about 18 months. Recently, I've developed a problem where I can initially connect to Live with no problems, but it will then disconnect after around half an hour and won't reconnect until I restart both my PC AND the 360. Keeps telling it failed at the DNS stage. Very frustrating.

Anyway, the error status code is:

W: 0000 - 000B
X: 0000 - 000D
Y: 0000 - 0000
Z: 8015 - 1904

Can anyone help? I'm scared to start an online game because I know I'm not going to be allowed to finish it.

I managed to fix my problem, it turned out my ISP was filtering a port or packet or something that xblive needed to work.

I've had it working for two days, until just a few minutes ago.

Hopefully I can resolve this problem myself, but now I'm getting
W: 0000-0021
X: 0000-F001
Y: 0000-0000
Z: 8015-1904

008A - 0DA0
AFFF - 0025

sometimes, the error changes:

0000 - 000B
0000 - F001
0C8A - 0D20
AFFF - 0019

My xbox is a Arcade Falcon model and my conection is cablemodem 4 mb, trough linksys router.

1 week ago the system work perfectly, but one day, playing Guitar Hero 3 original in live, my xbox360 disconnected of them, can´t connect again.

Sorry about my englis, in my country I don´t official support of microsoft.

Alright so i have spent 2 hours of collecting different error messages to figure out what exactly they mean and i honestly could write a guide on them by this point. Here is what i have discovered
W: 0000-0021
X: 0000-F001
Y: 00A8-E840
Z: 0000-0000

That is what im sure most of you are seeing something like.

So here i am going to explain them to you.

W: Hardware setup (Ignore)

X: Connection End - Means connection to X-box live servers has failed

Y: Internet setup type 00A8 - E840 U.S.A. Version Wireless Receiver for X-Box 360 Console. Others would be Ethernet cable or out of U.S.A. model of receiver.

Z: X-Box Policy Offenses. 0000 - 0000 = No X-box offenses. Any other = Ban or Suspension

I hope that helps you all.

Analysis: X-box Live Servers are out of commission.

Thats my error code, so according to your information i have made no xbox live policy offenses which means im sweet? I installed the new xbox experience so i cant exactly sign in to check.
