UPDATE - Since I don't think the LDV in CB_B has been patched out because it didn't matter till now, you will have to update this as well. But if you did patch it out of the CB_B then the hack would always work for slim, and the only thing you have to update is the CF/CG and the freeboot patches to the kernel. Plus I don't see why they don't just patch the CF LDV would make things easier.

ive been trying to find a post i was reading yesterday the update killed his glitch/dual boot
in that post he states nothing he has tried has worked changing ldv etc all he can get is new dash stock nand nothing else will boot!
ive been waiting for this since christmas i said msoft would knee jerk already had two regulars with jtags cancel rgh upgrades two brothers actually to quote"if were goin to have to patch dashes/games theres no point upgrading" a lot of those attracted to rgh liked the fact it ran the current dash non techicals dont like patching games/dashes
what they have done is killed the hack stone dead!
the truth is its probably going to have to be fully reworked even on slims
im just glad that ive got five coolrunners and non updated 360s to go with them
if your about we could use your input cos this wont be easy to fix

I wasn't going to bother removing R6T3 on my RGH mods but now it sounds like I probably should. I'm doing a Jasper with CB 6750 today, going to write protect those fuses! To hell with live and dual boot!

.. those aren't conflicting goals: build a retail image with xebuild just like you would for a modified image.

thats what we will have to do now till we know what the score is

I don't see why 2 people with JTAG's are cancelling RGH orders.

For a JTAG, you had to build a custom freeboot image of the latest dash and flash it to your NAND. The RGH is no different, even with this dashboard update. Those of us with RGH images just have to wait for a freeboot release so we can update to 14717 (if we wanted to). All this means is that currently updated FAT's cannot be glitched at this point in time.

I believe slim's can't right now either, unless you have the CPU key. There was some talk on the TX forums that the updated CB has somehow stopped Xell from loading on a slim, but if you got your key prior to the update, then you're fine.

right i should have been more clear the two rgh were for dual boot which is dead now
even if you build a dual boot 360 from an uncontaminated rgh when the stock goes live it updates
you wont be able to refuse the update for ever eventually it will be mandatory for live(real reason for two nands)

spent a while wondering why xell wouldnt boot when i have never had an issue with slims .... do a small search to find this update crap lol .....hate wasting time
