I installed Mortal Kombat on my Xbox 360 so the game would run faster.

Needing some extra HD space, I intended to delete the game installation, but keep the save files.

I went to the storage menu, selected the file that said "Mortal Kombat", pressed Y to delete, and deleted the file.

No longer seeing any Mortal Kombat icons, I realized that I should have pressed A to view associated files, and then deleted the single file that was the game installation.

My question to this forum, is there a possible way to recover my deleted game saves?

I found this program: XPort 360 2.12
http://digiex.net/downloads/download-cente...2-download.html

And was wondering what steps I would have to take to potentially recover the game save.

My best guess right now:
1: Take the Xbox HD out of the enclosure (I have the necessary screwdrivers)
2: Connect it to PC via HD enclosure (which I would need to purchase)
3: Run this software
4: Hope!

Things that would be wonderful:
1: If I could do this without taking the HD out
2: If I could do this with a macintosh.

I've never done this before and would love any advice or links to tutorials. Even better, if there is anyone here who lives in Chicago and could help me (I'll pay) or direct me to someone who could.

Thanks in advance!
