I'm not in the UK but I bought mine last monday, shipped last Tuesday and still haven't received it. Hope I get it soon so I can atleast dump the key before the firmware is available.

Same mate, ordered Monday (by accident) then convinced myself to get pay for it on the Tuesday. Posted there and then.

Still waiting.

I ordered mine from the site about a week ago, they said it is shipped, yet I haven't seen it. I live in GA btw.

Wha ti'm about to say will apply pretty much to both USA residents and international even though it's meant for the americans.

DIY is from CANADA.
Stuff shipped from CANADA to your country will take LONGER than stuff shipped within your respective country.
CANADA - USA can take over 2 weeks if shipped AIR or expedited, MONTHS if surface.(only a dumb seller would do that)
Also expect delays from the paranoid USA custom agency if going to U.S and guess what?.. It's the HOLIDAY season where everyone is shipping stuff causing even more delays.
So whoever says they STILL havent received it should be just a little more patient and actually know where they buy stuff from before they actually buy it.

Btw, USA buyers will get a confirmation#, not a tracking# if shipped via AIR.
Expedited cost more and isnt faster, it is usually for bigger parcels.

they are out of stock as of this posting. I have a feeling that even though some people placed their orders, there wasn't enough stock for everyone. So some will have to wait a bit longer before they replenish their stock.

Offtopic but does anyone reccommend someone/some website in the USA selling Connectivity Kit V1/V2/Xeno Connectivity Kit/ DIY Xbox 360 Connectivity Kit V2 (Xbox Power and Hard drive adapter) around $20? I order a sata slot (2week shippin), n its not gonna b here so im not in too much of a rush.

its the same product with a better rs232 ttl adapter/no db9 shell...

i am doing the same thing as you describe because i already have a xecuter ck1.

diygadget has their own ck's for less than $12...
http://www.diygadget.com/store/game-consol...-2/prod_22.html

there is another thread to build your own spear with spare electronics, but i wanted something easier to handle so i bought this on sunday with $3 shipping.
http://www.nkcelectronics.com/rs232-to-ttl-5v-converter.html
it will not arrive until next week(soonest). nkc also has the 3.3 version and one that is pre-assembled too.

I ordered the one with db9 shell yesterday, and I was contacted by them (via email) today that the one I have ordered was oos. I was given the option to get this one:

http://www.diygadget.com/store/game-consol...on/prod_43.html

It looks to be the exact same thing but without db9 shell. so I had decided to take this one. Will post back the results. I am in Totronto, so probably I can get it sooner!

Acually it looks different. The first one was this [ http://www.diygadget.com/store/game-consol...v2/prod_27.html ] modified with wire/probe and a small RS232 to TTL Converter.

THe new one is the modified RS232 to TTL Converter with wire/pobe [ http://www.diygadget.com/store/other-adapt...er/prod_35.html ] with [ http://www.diygadget.com/store/game-consol...v2/prod_27.html ]

But idk.

I think they fucked up my order. Anyone got their international phone number? Will find out if they have actually sent it out. If not, i'll get a refund and buy from Shopneo.

I ordered mine last week and recieved it yesterday, took 7 days by air mail to the Netherlands.

Question though so i don't screw it up.
In the package there are 2 boards, the one connected to the com connector and another lose little board, is the little board needed or is that the one in case you want to transfer save games to your pc's hdd?

They are very similar. they pre solder ground and 3.3v wire to the dvd adapter in the old one.
in the new one (DG-X360-05), they connect the ground using a alligator clip to attach to the metal part of the case, and for 3.3v, you just need to hold it to the small connector on the dvd power cable (safer than the pad). Use you other hand to hold the yellow one to the tx pad. You can use xtractor to get files, because it can delay 8 seconds.

what you are worrying about? it's holiday season, there may be some delays. But you can submit a ticket to them via www.csbooth.com.

That little board is the one for transferring the game save to pc.
