I got a firends xbox here that is locked and its in my xbox and of cousre, it won't boot cause its locked. I know that its been locked by using config magic and they have a master password TEAMASSEMBLY...so i was wondering how i could create a disk or something to unlock it upon bootup.

use xboxhdm, dos utils, unlock using master password. see stickies or search for more info

ummm, his motherboard is no more so I am attempting to unlock it from my xbox...so I can not access any programs, let alone a dashboard.

XboxHDM is a PC application. You'll have to unlock the hard drive by connecting it to your PC & using that application to unlock it.

you can also use ATAPWD to unlock the hdd on your PC.
