Sorry if this has been asked, as 48 pages it a quite a bit to read blink.gif but how can i enable ftp to the C drive? Somehow my msdash got deleted (i think as i couldnt see the files) so i went to error 21 when i tried to boot to msdash. I had to re-hotswap which is a pain when I should be just ftp the dash over... And also, is there a way to allow access to create a LIVE account, account management and friends list?

EvilDoor; it sounds like the Ndure Toolset is what you'd benefit from. Per the following "how to", you likely didn't have to re-hotswap ... and to ensure your setup is entirely correct, I recommend you still do this:

(That thread also indicates how to switch between the Eject boot being the XBL or regular MS dash.)

Followed Textbook guide and completed the mod. After I reboot the xbox it freez in the first screen ( XBOX logo, then xbox then MS screen).
After I executed ndure in the xbrowser window, I was getting the following response
Part 1 of 3
Part 2 of 3
cp: /cd/ndure/c/media/* : No Such file or directory
cp: /cd/ndure/c/bios/* : No Such file or directory

Then I tried putting my original PGR 2 and booted the xbox. Game is working fine. But without game it is not booting up. Since I am new to mod, I dont even know what is the first screen I should get after the modding. PLS HELP.

saravan; further to the above and your subsequent posts (in Textbook's "Ndure Softmod Through Xboxhdm" tutorial thread) the only advice I can give you is...

Here's an alternative method, that can be used successfully by anyone* and unlike the tut's 1st post and the one in this thread it guarantees* that Ndure 3.0 with MS 5960 dual-boot gets installed properly:

KingRoach mayb u could help me with this lil prob im havin um... i have a modded 1.6 xbox unleashx 120gb hardrive and i want to upgrade my mod from SID2 to Ndure 3.0 cuz i want a dual boot to use xbl, can u hlep me do this without deleting like my emulators and games

i have a extremely noob question.. i have successfully installed ndure by using the ndure installer 3.0 after unlocking my hard drive by hotswapping and booting with the install disc in the cd rom..now i have unleash x as my dashboard but when i goto play a dvd it won't work because i don't have XBMC.. i have the files for xbmb... how can i install it though?

Thanks kingroach. I'm trying and I'm getting errors. Doing something wrong. I was thinking it was the Dash maybe, b/c Ndure uses 5960 and tHc uses 4920. tHc also uses the fonts folder i think. If anyone can help please post or point me to something I can read. Thanks smile.gif .


P.S. I haven't re-read the installation instructions as you suggested, maybe I overlooked something.

make sure that you have a copy of ms dash in shadowc.. thc lite has its own data directory so that shouldnt be a problem..

installed unleashX+ndure 3.0 and works great, no probs at all.
now i would like to use some roms but didn't see any emulator or place to put roms. how do i get roms up and running with this.
