I read somwhere that 60 pin ATA cable makes load time faster, I ran mine both ways. If I could gat a longer one it would be a cleaner install. Does anybody else notice a difference.

I installed an ATA cable into my Xbox and speeds were roughly the same.

there is no such thing as a 60 pin ATA cable.

there is a 40 pin/40 conductor cable (ATA 33) and there is a 40 pin/80 conductor cable (ATA 66-133)

SCSI is 50 wSCSI is 68. FDD is 34, as is the control cable for MFM, RLL, and ESDI (data cables were 20 pins) so a 60 connector cable would be an ide plus the data for ESDI tongue.gif
