I need to know how to update my XBMC...I know there is a new build that just came out last week. I went to 'usual places' and they still have the old build from 12/05, so how do I update?
-thanks |

There are several new builds out, you can find a brand new build almost every day of the week, they are done by several release teams, so I'd just find one you like and stick with it. Personally I prefer "CLEAN", they don't have a bunch of un-needed scripts and stuff. Every time a get a build other than "CLEAN" half the crap doesn't work and for taking up so much size on the HD it isn't worth it. I do look forward to the 2.0 movement. I don't know much about it other than they are taking a break and coming out with a newer version of XBMC. Supposedly there's supposted to be a lot of bug fixes while they move on to 2.0.
EDIT: Sorry I forgot to tell you how to find it... You'll have to search for it m8, they aren't hard to find. This post has been edited by cerealkillajme: Mar 29 2006, 01:19 AM |

the xbmc one...its in the root. you know how when you message in irc it gives you two places? its the second one. so maybe its not technically xbins, but you get there the same way...through the xbins channel
and yes, thats what you do. This post has been edited by theperfekt001: Mar 29 2006, 05:31 AM |
