Game Freeze On Loading Screen Question Options

Hello,
I have the evoXM8 v16.67 setup with dvd2xbox back up tool. i have over 30 games backed up on my HD. there's a few games (maybe) 4 or 5 that will not copy 2 files when I transfer the games from dvdr to the hard drive. most recent is Outlaw Tennis. the game will still load upto the point of actually starting game play past the profile screens then halfway through the loading the thing freezes up. I have tried empting the E cache & disabling the tsr & the in game reset & also set the time & date but still freezes up. now if I play the game off the dvdr it loads & plays fine so I know there's nothing up with the disc..is there something I'm haven't tried yet?

That is more than likely your problem.

thx for the info. I got the game to load with no probs. I don't know why it worked but here's what I did. I opened the game folder on my computer (before i made the iso to burn), I used Qwix 1.01. I selected the tools tab, next I selected the patch xbe tab, next I opened the game folder on my computer & I patched every xbe file -
dashupdate.xbe
default.xbe
downloader.xbe
update.xbe
then I created a new iso with same program, last I burned a new game disc with nero 7, then I copied the burn't dvdr to the hard drive of my xbox & all the files copied. played the game after with no freeze ups on any loading screens....I don't get why this worked but I guess from now on I will have to do this prior to making the iso file for burning to keep from making coasters.. I sure wish I could understand why? oh by the way the game is Outlaw Tennis.....
