You mean for 7 months. If the 1. PS3 is more powerful.....
Even then, If you wait until the PS3 is out, you know the 360 will come down to 299.99 w/1 bonus game. And their wont Even be a core version.
Or Maybe MS thinks that launching HALO3 the same day the PS3 is released, is going to do thaaaat much. Sure people will be waiting in line for 2 pre-orders that day.........
Also I hope it makes sense to you that I can buy 2 Springfield Armory XD Firearms, with a few magazines. Guaranteed FOR LIFE,Also they will last longer than a lifetime , and I can hand them down to my children. For the same price of something that will last 5 years.... If not LESS. You cant defend your life with a 360, your not going to pass it down to your children when you grow old and die.......... Plus I bet the warranty for the 360 is what... a Year?

You mean the eye candy... Yes its nice. However eye candy does not make a game, it just makes it pretty. QUOTE and the generation after this is gonna be even more expensive. Only due to inflation, there is a limit that a consumer will want to spend on a video game. How many of you are really buying their own xbox, and not getting their parents to buy it for you? Its going to take me 48 work hours to pay for this thing. That’s not including taxes taken out of my check, or my Medical/Dental/Car Insurance. (Yes I get car insurance through my Employer) Maintenance on the car.... I also have to pay for rent ($800 a month for 900 Sq. feet) buy Gas (I drive an hour to work and back, and live in California, Gas is 2.95 where I live.) Pay for groceries, Water, Electric, Cable,Trash. So sorry for the bad spelling grammar, I will try to slow down some, and spell everything right for all you people out their. Its just VERY expensive, thats all...... Compared to a lot of other things that will last longer... This post has been edited by SirGuyO: Nov 2 2005, 12:26 AM

My POINT about the firearms was:
They will last my ENTIRE LIFE. WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY I Understand why that can cost 300-1,000 dollars. You Cant Go Wrong with that.
Bad Analogy I suppose.
The cost is just too much for something your going to have for 5 years. Also for some reason if it breaks in a year, I would have to buy a new one.
I Have a DVD Player, A CD-R/RW, a DVD-R/RW, a Computer, A XBox, a PS2, A PSP, a Ninetnedo 64/gamecube/SNES/NES a Dreamcast. I have plenty of great games.
So Yes, that 1 teraflop of floating point calculations is for the eye candy. The 399.99 is for the eye candy...
Most likley I will Buy this system, with all listed above. I will charge it to my credit card, since I will not be able to budget this in right now. Then make payments for 4-5months, adding 3.9% each billing cycle.

Yes, you can,you will either. No matter what its going to have problems. A) have to put in twice the amount you paid for it to keep it running for a month. It will break down in a month. My point of the topic, was is it worth it. All I did was compare it to something that would last a lifetime, with simmilar cost. I am not trying to make this into a gun discussion.

( I didn’t buy them, my NES/SNES/N64/DREAMCAST/PS2/XBOX, any of them. I got them all as gifts from my parents, did they buy them New at Release, NO I got them after they had a price reduction.) Infact I still have the box for the first NES that I ever got. Its from Gottschalks with 2 Remotes, and Mario Bro's 3, 89.99 Also I have gone through around 5 NES's, 2SNES, 3 N64's, 3PS2's [Under warranty] , Nice thing is when you have local garage sales, you can buy anything for a 5$ bill (If you would have said Pet Rock, I would have laughed, Go ask your parents if they still have thiers, Now thats an investment! ) (Also Im sorry I dont make more than 15$ an hour, I decided to WORK instead of going to school, bad choice, but so be it.)
