Hey All,

I dont know which motherboard to use. I clicked the Check SMC hack/Motherboard in xebuild gui and it says
Suggested Motherboard BigBlock Jasper
Suggested SMC Normal
SMC Type: JTag
TMS Patch 0x83
TDI Patch 0xC0
SMC Vers 2.3
CB Vers 6723

Any help would be appreciated.

Do I use the Jasper 16, 256 or 512? I need to update to 14719.

if you have a hardware flasher, you can determine this with the flash controller.

that said, just boot the box up without a memory unit or hard drive attached. navigate to system settings && memory/storage info.

if no storage is available, it's a sb/16mb unit.
if it's 223mb (post-format), it's a bb/256mb unit.
if it's 451mb (post-format), it's a bb/512mb unit.

Thank you, I found out when I backed it up I had a 512. I do have a question when I use flash360 I get a 512 mg nand and an error, when i use Nand Flasher I get a 66 meg one. Which one should I use?

everything about the ~66mb flash file system on bb-jaspers is (relatively) useless.

just make sure to copy/move any profiles that you have on the internal memory unit to either a hard drive or a 360-formatted usb stick [that is, if you want to save them].
