I recently purchased a new 360 (Manufactured 2009/09/06) with kernel kernel 7371. Is it worth my time extracting nand or does it have new bootloader for sure?

Let me get this right? You want to know if the your console can have the jtag exploit done(still has the 1bl)? You really do not know until you crack it open and dump the nand. sorry.

check what kind of warranty sticker is under the faceplate... if it is silver MICROSOFT sticker you might be able... if it is white with green xbox logo then it is a refurbished and you probably shouldn't open it because there is a HIGH chance of newer hardware
