Hi all,

I seemt o be having a bit of a problem linking my PC to my XBOX, I have a X-bit chip installed with a Exectutor 4983 bios installed.

I will admit to not really having my head around the whole which cable to use thing but I have checked using another XBOX and the wire I was testing with is sound.

Basically the problem is that it wont connect to the PC and none of the lights on the network connection light up when plugged in. Any ideas?

If none of the light light up it is probably a dead NIC. There are Tutorials here on how to replace one, but you need soldering skills. You can also get it replaced for about $35 plus shipping both ways.
