So, i read that MLB locks up your box quite a bit.... but should i be worried to play it?

I just sent my xbox out to be fixed (havent' got it back yet), and i dont wanna hurt it anymore.....
so does mlb mess anything up in your box or on your hdd by locking up or is it just annoying?

I had alot of problems with it before the update, but since updating it hasn't froze at all. Sure the game is full of little glitches but it won't mess anything up as long as you update.
