Firstly let me explain my situation:

I am trying to register my PSP(5.00 M33-6) with my PS3(2.75). I have 'version.txt' enabled on my PSP. I have formatted flash 1 and reset to default settings. When I try and register my PSP (via USB) with my PS3 it is not recognised, and it says there are no PSP's connected.

I have looked online for an answer, and the only 2 recommendations I can find are:
1. Use KeyCleaner (Chilly Willy's)
2. Download the latest firmware from Sony, use psardumper and dump the new version.txt, then load that onto my PSP.

I haven't tried either yet. I am looking for some advice, ultimately a solution. I would appreciate any help that can be offered.
