$30 + cost to ship. I'll JTAG your console for you. My set of JTAG cables is usb, so I can read/write them quicker and get back to you in no time (note: these are not for sale).

Some things to note:
-Due to the fact that an external LPT port is useless, I will not include one. The xbox can be flashed through Linux (after the first flash, which you pay me to do) far easier and faster than through a standard LPT, for any updates down the road.
-You will get your keyvault, original bin, and dvd key sent to you through email of your choice (no sense in wasting cds).
-I flash them with XBR v3, the lag-less XBR

I'll also do dvd drives too, if you want. 20$ + cost to ship. They're easy so I don't see a reason to charge too much.

Please make sure your console is JTAG-able. That means your dashboard version has to be 7 series or earlier (NOT 8 series. If you have been on xbox live since early June 09, you are SOL).

I'll even back it with a cheesy guarantee. If you're not satisfied with the work, I'll give you a refund or fix it for you free (along with a refund). I give this guarantee because I know it's not going to happen (but I'm prepared to dish out in that extenuating circumstance. For instance, the vigilante UPS employee that skewers it with a broadsword).

Bumping with a gigantic picture of my work. It's quite flawless. Not to toot my own horn or anything.

Do you see a solder pad anywhere? Because there isn't. Those are holes. The wires sit in the holes and have absolutely no give whatsoever even after giving them a good tug. Instead of making two solder joints where they could easily disjoint, I made one. Better structural integrity. This is bare basics. The wire exposed is also far less than what you think. That is unless you think capacitors are about 4 inches tall (hint: the picture is 1megapixel). The wire is 22AWG (I believe).

Please do not crap my thread. There is no reason for it other than trying to make me look bad to get yourself more business.

I have a nice $70 soldering station and have JTAGged at least 6 boxes so far, with no problems from any of my customers.

Also like to add that you would deliberately have to try to cause a short anywhere near those wires. There is no movement to the wires at all even when violently shaking the xbox. The wires lie flush underneath the dvd drive with a good amount of space between the wires and the drive itself.

Hint: look at the mosfets on the motherboard. They have just as much conductive material exposed. Take a guess why they're not hotglued like crazy.

Not to mention that the only time those connections ever do anything is for the first few seconds on bootup. After it boots you can disconnect them if you so desire and not have a problem.

If you have legitimate concerns that aren't simply "hurr this guys work is bad, buy my work instead for twice the price hurrr" please feel free to post them in this thread. I even gave a guarantee that my work wont fail.

New pictures with better work!

Note: The black on the one wire is from electrical tape.

Bump for a great modder and a nice guy who responds to messages very quickly. I had a unit Jtag'd and LT flashed with same day service. I received my unit back the same week I sent it to the other side of the country. I highly recommend his services.

Thanks bro, also new pictures of a bottom install, which I do on all consoles except xenon (no reason on xenon).

On Zephyrs/Falcon/Opus/Jasper you can either solder to the bottom of the motherboard, or directly to the rf unit. Soldering to the RF unit is ugly, so I do a bottom install (also if, for whatever reason, you need to take your motherboard out, you have to desolder from the RF unit, if that was the install method you chose). You can't even see it when the motherboard is in the case. All wires lie flush below the x-clamps.

This is cytokinetic's motherboard

I've fixed a few JTAGs that customers have botched as well. All pictures are up on my photobucket.

I am amateur to this site, but not se7ensins.com (Been there since '08 - Highly respected member) so don't make fun of me muhaha.gif

Forgive me if I am wrong, but don't you have to have a console manufactured before or on June 16th 2009 in order for the console to be JTAG-able? (And have .7371 or lower)

I am greatly interested in your service. I have a brand new Arcade Jasper which I bought online yesterday. It hasn't been online, so I am wondering if it can still be JTAGed no matter its manufacture date.

If worst comes to worst I will return it and get another.

P.S. - Please PM me your AIM or some way I can contact you.

Thanks biggrin.gif

Yes everything you've said is true. If it hasn't been manufactured before that date it's very likely it can't be modded. However, if I can't mod it I only charge shipping.

Sorry, gmail was down yesterday for some strange reason so I never saw your messages. I have received your xbox and am currently working on it. I got an influx of 6 xboxs in one day, so yeah I've been a little busy.

Well...you are working on six at a time or one at a time? It would be faster if you work on six at a time.
