Ok, i got another XBOX and it is an older xbox.
My friend told me that i wont be able to mod it (softmod) because its old. I couldnt believe him because my xbox was made in late 04


so............can an older XBOX be modded???

He said that the disc tray of an XBOX that can be modded has two holes on the side of the tray

My xbox tray looks like this: U

Can it be modded? (soft)

Your friend is either really dumb or he is just not very well educated on it.. Yeah it can be soft modded.. Pretty easy infact. But since it is older a tsop is a better answer in my opinion casue softmods once again in my opinion fuckin suck, unless you dont plan to upgrade the hd, then they are ok casue there is no sense in opening the box if yo uaren't going to upgrade your hd

actually check my sig. the hotswapping faq and xboxhdm for dummies are 90% of what you need... just get uxe complete from the usual places (also a linked tutorial in my sig) and install that via a hotswap and xboxhdm.
