Bungie.nets starting weapon topic

Wow. Its a stickied topic at bungie.net. They want our imput about starting weapons. Ever hate spawning in the middle Coag with an SMG to only be headshotted 3-4 seconds later. So go over there and tell them you want Battle rifle starts. Hell just go there and tell them what you want. Im hoping for sanything as close to MLG style as possible

yea BR at the start would b nice. im best with midrange BR. so when i start with smg i usualy die alot. and is that thread at bungie forums made by bungie and is sumthin they will look at or is just made by sum kid that starts rumors?

Yea it was stickied which means if nothing else a moderator of bungie.net stickied it so its semi-official.

I agrea you should definatly spawm with somthing other than the SMG. Expecially on Coagulation.

its amazing how much spawning with a br changes the dynamic of the game: much more use of cover and its not quite as hectic... def. feels more like halo...

primary - br
secondary - smg or mag

obviously the best setup... smile.gif

Yeah, I wouldn't mind starting with the BR on Coag or Water Works. The SMG is fine for smaller maps though.

smg is a noobs gun. just run in guns blazin. i agree a battle rifle as the starting gun would make better gameplay.

NO SMGS starting like I said then noobs will just get duals. Which again takes less skill. bungie wants people to be more diverse instead of SMG + something else, maybe like pistol and plasma rifle or something.
