I noticed that every so often on my pc I'll see a link in the threads and it comes up with a little box. Was wondering if this was for tags that had to do with this website or spyware infecting my pc?

Those are most likely ads. I moved to Firefox with Ad Block Plus and don't see much of anything anymore. I was on another PC and saw what you are talking about though.

It doesn't give you anymore information from here, just pops up a search on that item.

at the very bottom left of the forums you can select xbox scene 2.1.7 fewer ads edition, in turn off the intellitext ads.

Very useful information there! I've never paid attention to it.
