hi im sure many of you are now aware of the fimware 2.30 improvments.

What interests me is the new DTS-HD master audio features.

Can any one tell me if this will be bitsetting or LPCM ?

as i have an onkyo ,705 amplifyer that can decode Master audio

It should be LPCM. According to various sources on avsforum, the chip in the PS3 is not capable of high bit-rate audio output of the new codecs (bitstreaming).
