I am installing a 2.3B lite on my friends xbox, but I think I may have goofed on the install. The d0 point seems to be enlarged and I can only get a solid connection when the xbox starts and shuts down, other than that, it does not work. My question is, is there any way to hardwire the mod into the d0 point? Or is the only way to make the mod work to buy a new modchip?

I figured that out already, I just wanted to know if ther "was any way to hardwire the mod" into the xbox, as it is a soderless modchip.

You can install via a pinheader, then connect the bottom d0 to the correct d0 pogo, and solder a wire from the metal around the screwhole on the chip to the the screw if you want...
