To me raising the price of gas makes no sense. People still need the gas, so raising the price isn't going to make more gas now is it. What I say to do is take money from these "profesional" athletes that are making 60+ million dollars a year to help pay for all the shyte the people in N.O. need. I mean do people really need to be payed that much money to play a sport. I think it is absolutley rediculuos. And thats what I have to say about that.

I live in the netherlands...

we have the highest gasoline price in the whole world ...

The prices of gasoline wont prevent me to use the car... but distances i can travel in some other way, i will do that....

Or just stay home and play on the xbox smile.gif...

IT sucks i say all these million doller mofo"s getting paid 20 mil for a movie is bs and all these sport athleats also malking millions should be taxed more so everyone could be able to afford the finer things in life all you see on tv is donate to new orleans i did and think people should but what about the million aires what are they doing but going on tv asking us for money.


A wallmart donated 1 million dollers that is equivalent to us giving 5 bucks

and with these gas prices either they give raises or lower the gas because we will need donations soon and fema would need to help everyone in the states.

And this i a good thread because it could effect lots of people and i hope it effects the economy so they can lower the gas or come up with a new alternative like electric cars whatever works best natural gas ect.

I drive 40 miles one way to work thats 80 mi a day so i can buy a 360 from here till launch with this increase i paid 310 for regs today i will spend 275 300 a month on gas alone.. grr.gif the arab nations we buy gas from muhaha.gif

No this is a good thread and it can effect the 360 its a legit point good thread.

but there is not much we can do i heared people were protesting saying that no one should pour gas on labor day..whatever i dont think that will work

im sure that 360 will sell great in the middle east this holiday.

high gas prices here in norway too, now we have to pay around 13nok per liter, that is around 2,13$ per liter when converted into usd... we who have alot of oil... blink.gif

If you guys know about the manhatan project a new fuel source can be done you just need effort put into it.


hybred cars dont really do the job because it works on stop and go traffic only long great going long distance when you stop the 3 liter engine shuts off and when you drive the engine charges the battery.

thats a waist especially if its far away why drive 20 more miles to save 10 cents

its like coupons the super market is in the corner and people drive 1hr away to save 5 bucks

and to the guy who said why raise gas prices.....


SUPPLY and DEMAND..... there are more people driving SUVS and thier also more countries like china now that more people are making more money to buy vehicles and own homes that use gas..... so the more demand the higher the price....



Ill put it in ways some may understand....


MS releases 10,000 xbox 360 for the first month of release that means a luncky 10,000 people will get it for 299 or 399 then maybe half of them will put it on ebay because of the shortage with such a high demand they will cost way more than the suggested retail price.... you may even see retail stores raising thier initial prices... thats whats happening with gas.... the refineries can't keep up with the demand... thats why a 1 week time period of some of our refinieres being down rasies gas prices in places like in alanta to $5 a gallon....



but with some control and saving everyone should be able to buy a 360 but whats more important? being able to get to work or playing video games smile.gif
