Sorry! Splinter Cell Double Agent Problems? Options

Anybody have any problems backing this up to hdd. Tried it with dvd2xbox and its not working right(audio and visuals suck). Any suggestions appreciated!!!!!!

It worked fine for me, maybe you have the reigon set wrong? I really don't know what else could make audio and visual problems.

i cant get this game to boot at all, nither from disc or hdd. it just goes to black.

i can load the multiplayer xbe, but not the main one. has anyone else had this problem.


i would really love to play this game!

Its doing the same thing for me and I have a NTSC box and I did set the region to auto.

Ditto, Can't get this to run from original or backup. On HD using dvd2xbox 7.7 doesn't work. Tried making DVD backup using Craxton with same results. Also just ftp the files over, still just a black screen.

My xbox is softmodded using Krayzies Indure 1.1, so I tried turning the softmod off and still the original would not run but gave me a screen that my "xbox needed service", although there's nothing wrong with my xbox (no error numbers were displayed). I will uninstall krayzies and see what happens.

Is this just a softmod issue? Or are chipped boxes having issues with this game?

PS It will not run on my unmodded 360 either.

Okay, A little update. (See above post)

Tried uninstalling softmod and still original will not play and I still get the same error message "xbox needs service".

However, I tried the original & a backup copy on my other xbox modded exactly the same way and they both worked?????

Region is set exactly the same on both of these. The only difference between the two is the 1st one has a 160g HD, while the 2nd one (which worked with these) has a stock HD.

Both have been softmodded with Krayzies Indure 1.1 with UnleashX as Dash. Is the larger HD being detected somehow and causing this problem? Anyone else having this same issue with this game on a non-stock HD?

This one's got me completely puzzled!!!

i have a hardmodded xbox, I can load the game fine off of hdd, but the save games hand and do not load. I have'nt found a way around this yet. I would have to start a new game evertime i want to play a game. I think we have to wait till there is a crack or patch to play it normally.

My box is chipped and the original will play but there is loud static and the colors are all off. Put this game on my friends xbox thats got the same exact chip and same box as mine and it works fine.
I have a old xbox that is not chipped and it plays fine. WTF!!!!. So I swapped dvd drives out because i thought my laser might be weak in the modded box. Same results, bad audio and graphics. I even got another original game disc and still got the same results. So thats where i stand. Hope this info helps come up with a solution.

Okay, got this to finally work off of original, backup dvd and HD. Here's what I did so far.

Copied all of my TDATA & UDATA files to my pc HD. Then deleted all of these from xbox HD, so all that I had left on my xbox HD was empty TDATA & UDATA folders.

Now this game plays and loads just fine.

I haven't yet tried coping these save game folders back to see what happens to try and figure out what file or files could be causing this problem with this game.

Any ideas as to what to look for in these folders would be appreciated.

But at least now it is working!!!!

FTPed the TDATA & UDATA files back to my xbox from my pc and game is still working just fine. Please note that when transfering the files back over I did not overwrite any files that had been created between doing this!!!

My buddy FTPed his game to his laptop then brought it over and put it on my modded xbox. The graphics have improved alot but the audio is still screwed up in places. I'll have to check it out further. Hope my box isn't fried. Thanks again !!!!

Just a quick update:

It might have created a corrupt save or settings file or somesuch somehow. That's why deleteing the tdata udata dirs worked. And you didn't overwrite the new working save files with your old ones, which is why it still works after the transfer back to your xbox.

Anyone else with issues, try deleting the tdata and udata dirs for this game only. You shouldn't need to touch the other ones. I'm not sure what the dir is called, but unleashx will tell you in the save game manager, or just use the original MS dash to delete the save.

I am having the same problems. I can't even play the game from the hard drive or the disk. I used dvd2xbox and it worked fine until I tried to start the game. It keeps coming up with a "dirty or damaged disk" error. I have tried to transfer the Tdata and Udata but it still will not work. I have set the region to auto and cleared the cache as well. Any ideas? Thanks
