'Extracting your drive key the hard way...'
Xk3y has posted some nice pics of the process of decapping/reverse engineering the Panasonic drive controller which are used on the Hitachi 0500/0502 drives, which are, until now, 'uncrackable'.
The Xk3y Team has posted some very interesting pics of its work on the Panasonic drive controller located on the Hitachi 0500/0502 drives for the Xbox 360 console, and also, the process of reverse engineering via microscope, at their official Facebook page.
"We thought we'd share some of the fun we had with 0500/0502", the team said.
We wish good luck to the team!
Check out some of the pictures in our X-S forums and at the FB link below.

Haven't been to the site in a while. Good to be back. That being said, I really like the level of dedication and sophistication that the Xkey team is putting out. Good work.

looks like c4eva's firmware or odde won't die, but rgh will since the 15572 dash.
TX already unofficially confirmed that they have a new solution for extracting the CPU key on 15774. They're still keeping it internal though, probably until they start shipping their CR3 Pro, or until MS releases the new & improved dash version 16xxx with integrated IE.
