Alright, so I was at my friend's place hooking my system up, and as I was doing so, I was leaning over his computer and touching it with my arm (his computer, due to bad wiring in the house, wasn't hooked up to a ground lead since when it was it'd make his computer tweak out) so while I was doing so, my 360 grounded out through the av cables and shocked me, and it didn't stop till I lifted my arm off his computer. Needless to say, it booted, once, with the screen looking all scrambled in-game only, and after a reboot, I got an error (it's still over at his place, but I think it was the 74 error and it had only one light). So, I'm fairly sure I fried something doing so, something beyond any 'cheap fix'. So I'm wondering, if I get a new motherboard, how do I go about getting my old DVD drive to work. All the tutorials I find are how to inject a modded firmware, what's the easiest way to just update a DVD drive with a new key so it'd work with a new motherboard? A link to something would be fine, or just anything, I'm already out a near brand-new 360, I just want it to work at this point...
Wish I had a warranty, but some (3 letter word, 4 letter word) thought it'd be a good idea to remove the sticker for me while I was gone so they could open it and find out what the 'loose screw' noise was so they could remove it... some people, are so stupid, they're evil...

Anyways, any help would be great, Thanks sad.gif

Damn, hate to double post, but I don't see an edit-post button...
Anyways, it's probably relevant to say I have a S-H943 MS25 DVD drive.
