I have yet to see an xbox1 lockup ...ever...

For some reason the other day my xbox started to freeze while watching tv shows , it got progressively worse and now freezes only a few minutes after starting up.

Is it on its last leg or could there be something else causing this?

I have extra heatsinks on the mobo and feel no heat at all coming from the back (12v fan mod as well) , so I don't think its overheating..

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How is your xbox modded? If it is chipped, you could have a soldering problem. Have you checked the temperature readings in your dashboard? In case of overheating, you might see them going up. The issue can also happen if your supply voltages lower due to heating up.

regards.

1. What softmod was used?
2. Try formatting X,Y,Z and also clear E:\cache.
3. Did you ever do a hdd upgrade?

It could be the MCPX Chip going...If it is, there's nothing you can do!

It could be the HD is on the way out too. Make sure you have recent back ups on the PC.
