I currently have the Japanese version of Pokemon Emerald. In a few months, when the English version is released, will I be able to take the save slate from the jap version and load it from the english version? I only ask because I don't want to start playing now, and end up starting over in 3 months when the english version is released. Please let me know. Thanks.

Im no rom expert, but there might be a english patch available somewhere for it, I rom i had once had one.

the one i currently have is supposed to be 97% english patched, which is bull. none of it's in english.

if there is an english patch somewhere, would anyone know? i know telling someone where to get roms is against the rules... but this is a patch. telling someone where to get a patch isn't against the rules, is it? if it's not, i'd really appreciate help. thanks.

Or you could try a ROM forum.
