im looking for kinect connector pinout, i looked in the usual pinout websites with no luck so any help would be appreciated as i need to build a couple of adaptors to use bundled kinect units with older consoles

i have the same problem...and i cant belive that in a great technical forum like this, no one have this information ??

i assume your talking about the power connector?...im not sure, i dont have one.

but if your talking about the pinout for the data interface it can be found here.

hi, thanks for thr info, but thats a standar USB pinout...im looking for the exactly same diagams for the Kinect plug conector (that provides data trasfer + 12v power)...i have the SLIM 4gb with kinect bundle, and i want to use tke kinect in an older xbox 360 model

PD: the ORIGINAL power adapter for use the kinect in OLDER XBOX 360 models use a 12V 1.06A input + a USB plug ...but i cant find the complete PINOUT diagramas of this kinect adapter...any help will be great

so basically you made it out of 2 USB (a type) male ends, stacked back to back, offset with an extra pin?
That's f*c*ing clever as sh!t. You should make a step by step tutorial on how you did this.

not raining on anyones parade federicozose has done an awesome job with the kinect pinout and the adapter i was just stoked that i was able to get m$ to give me a free one while every one else lets m$ push them around and and charge 10 times what it is worth

Could I use two USB males, back to back like this to extend the kinect. I've searched all over to purchase the proper plugs with no luck.
I don't fancy splicing the cable just in case I ever sell it on.
