Hi

I want to provide my 360 a path to true earth ground.I want to do that with crocclips. Where do I have to ''bind'' the crocclips to? I know to the chassis of the pc and 360, but at wat part of the chassis (maybe you can illustrate it with a pic)? Or it doesn't matter? And does it matter if I bind the red crocclip to the 360's chassis or the pc's chassis? Sorry for my bad English.

Use the PC chassis....any where that is metal is fine....the closer to the power supply you can get the better....use whatever will provide a direct connection....color is only color.

You could also attach one of your croc clips to a metal screw on a electrical outlet and the other to a piece of metal to your xbox. Unscrew it halfway and attach the clip. Then you should be good to go.

Unless of course, you're like me and bought an antistatic bonding plug, cord and wrist-strap from http://ebook.maplin.co.uk/maplinlargeebook...r.html?page=910

Stupid Maplins don't just sell a wrist strap that ends in a cord or a plug, you have to buy everything seperately.


All i did was connect a wire between my xbox and laptop, then burn off some of the wire plastic in the middle and clipped it to the earth plug. Voila! A true earth ground and zero chance of frying my console.
