Hi guys...i want to decrease my xbox360 falcon temperature[ already did 12v mod]
so i want to do a pc case mod and have several questions:
1.where should i place the fans? how many and what size.
2.does pc case mod will help to reduce the temp?
3.what else can i do to keep the xbox cool?

Id look at other builds and see where your gonna put the board inside the case and put fans accordingly. It could help with themps. You could always watercool it, theres prolly enough room for a nice watercooling system.

the cost to water cool would run you about the same price as a new 360 especially since they are dropping the price of an arcade to $150. The cheapest kit i have seen for water cooling was about 120 and that would only cool 1 chip. you would then have to invest in another cooling pod and hoses

i spent probably 225-250 in total for everything for my watercooling kit. but i went all out and bought nice stuff.
I sold my psp on ebay and hads lots of paypal money left over so i spent it on watercooling.

I have a pc case mod with my water cooling in it. heres a picture:

Have had mine for about a year. Not a single problem. Never overheated. Its a falcon board too. Sometimes I leave it on for days.

But I would ask xb0xexpert (guy on youtube and forums) how long his has lasted, he first watercooled his back in like 2006-2007.
