hey

today i get the errorcode 74 thing, so i called M$ for repaer, but the only thing is its modded so i want to make it retail but i dodnt have the org. FW off the drive, i do have the ixreme 1,4 saved at my desktop, what can i do to make it stock again so that uncle bill cant see that i have messed with it.

If it's modded the warranty is void. Discussion about sending in xbox systems for repair with a voided warranty is not allowed here at xbox-scene.

Just do the x-clamp fix, if you wanted to get microsoft to fix it, you shouldn't have modded it. You knew what you were doing

I agree with the above posts but
have you tried a different av cable might be the problem
E74: AV cable error... There is a problem with the AV cable, try using a different AV cable. If the cable is known to be working then there is a 90% chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip connected directly to the AV cable) in rare cases it is the GPU.

They won b able to tell by firmware they probaly swap drive out anyways im told they do this how true it is i dont know you will probal have to pay for repair anyways as im guessing you will or voided warrinty so im guessing no w fraud will be commited
