Anyone With A Silver Account Had There Xbox Banned? Options

I can find the answer in any of the other many post about bans and to ban 1 million gold accounts only would be odd.

I only know one person that had a silver account and was banned. Went on live to download media codecs and demos etc.

My first console banned only ever had the 1 month free gold then reset of its live on silver.

I have also read over numerous threads over the last week and do not find any references to the Silver account.

I took my Xbox on Live with a Silver account, after contemplating going back to stock firmware. In the end I did not bother flashing it to stock and decided to take my chances. I have not been banned yet, but don't think I am immune even though I usually only play legit titles. I was asked to do a few updates - one from the COD MW2 disk, after which I had to download the Media update again.

As my Gold sub ran out couple of months ago, it is painful not to be able to play MW2 online, but I not going to buy another sub before the banning wave is over; as I think m$ are evil enough to wait before I get Gold and then ban me!

I am a silver member and have been banned.

I never had a gold subscription. I use 48hr codes and have been doing so for the past year

Bought an elite, modded it a couple days after purchase, banned a couple weeks later (Nov 2). Only played one game on it, and haven't had a gold account in over 2 years. I also still had a balance of 500 points on my silver account. Account type obviously has nothing to do with your chances of being banned.
