Hiya,

hddhackr affected my desktop hdd 'WD5000AAKS' and I have no 'undo.bin' file. sad.gif
If I get the 'undo.bin' file from another 'WD5000AAKS' using hddhackr again then can I recover my hdd?

How can I get a 'undo.bin' file for my hdd?
Where is a depository of 'undo.bin' files?

Help me please...

Thanks.

i take it that you tried to flash your BEVx with the hddss.bin and you messed up the sata port selection and ended up flashing your main hdd. i think you might be fcked. i dont think the undo.bin will work like that for anything not BEVx

If it was able to screw up your drive, it should be able to fix it.

How come you don't have the undo? I don't remember very well the procedure, but I think it creates it for you...
