I've backed up about 20 or so games with only a couple of coasters on RITEK. Towards the end of the 25 pack I noticed more and more problems (including the Open Tray issue, incomplete burns)

I switched to the Verbatim MKM DVDs. Only 4 out of the whole dang pack were successful!


Could my DVD burner be failing?

Usually 2.4 but have tried 4x (which worked once)

The XBC shows the Discs were manufactured by MKM? I don't know if that's what you're looking for. I read those are the good ones.

The ones that appeared to work best were a set of Office Depot - Ritek manufactured discs... I picked up another 111d and a set of those Office Depot discs for cheap so I'll give it a try again.
