And was wondering if Princo would be a good media to burn with? I heard good things, but i dont want to end up buying a whole bunch of DVD's and not have them work...

Princo DVD-R 4x

on a

Sony DVD-RW DW-D22A

with a Thompson DVD drive in my XBox.

*Would be damn nice if these are good...getting them for about 45 cents a piece...*

Princo's are not very good quality media from what I've always understood. Your much better going with Taiyo Yudens. They can be found for around the same price you have listed above.

Try this LINK out. I think the coupon they have is only good for another couple of days.

45 cents each is pretty high pricing unles your buying liek a 5 pack or soemthing, TYs probably run 35-40 cents a disc for a 100 pack

I know normaly. But I've been looking for a while this morning and a lot of sites seem to be out or there prices are higher. If you don't mind posting a link to a site that has them in stock and cheaper I'd appreciate it. My Dad's looking to restock and the site he usually goes thru raised there prices quite a bit.

Thats actually the same site I linked to. Only I linked to the 8X TY's. Yours linked to the 4X. But that's fine for me anyway as my writer is only a 4x. Besides the 4X TY's will write at 8X anyway.

Thanks I must have overlooked it.

I use maxell 4x-8x DVD+Rs on a Phillips drive, and they have a 100% success rate. I've NEVER had a bad burn that wasn't my fault. But make sure you burn it at 4x or lower. And if you try e-bay, you can get them for about 35-40 cents apiece.
