Can anyone post they're Xbox sata drives, adapters you are using and which program you used to format it.
I have been trying to use xboxhdm to create from scratch but it doesent see the drive. Sooner or later I'm going to try chimp but if it fails I'd like a list of parts that people have gotten to work smile.gif (and figure which adapter is the most reliable)

Already saw it, half the links are dead or the products are discontinued. I was hoping to hear from those who already have done this more recently and get a bit more modern list of working adapters.

for drives i only use 2tb drives (why not? dam near the same price. make sure you read about the xbparitioner 1.0 and 1.1 bug). right now i just used a SAMSUNG EcoGreen F4 HD204UI 2TB. but i had to use it on a xbox that is TSOP'ed because the drive needs time to wind up. didnt work on a softmodded

its more likely your adapter then your drive. ive had to go through a few that didnt work.

and i use xboxHDM 1.9 still
