Kotor 1 Modding Options

ok well i CAN mod Kotor 2 with the override folder and all and it works perfectly but when i try to do a mod that's for kotor 1 it doesn't work i don't know what i'm doing wrong because i do this on kotor 2 (but with a different mod) and it works ok help?

The first -- and possibly most important -- question is, where is your override folder? For K2, it goes in the game directory.

For K1, it goes in the same folder as the saves:

TDATA\4c400003\override\

Common mistake. I assume it was set like that for the extra content, since that's where it ended up when people got the Yavin Station download.

For K1, it goes in the same folder as the saves:
TDATA\4c400003\override\

On my box it is TDATA\4c4100003\
I tried putting mods in 4c4100003\override and 4c4000003\override both with no luck.
Mimesis puts them in something like TDATA\4c400003\$c\4c41000300123553\override.
Doesn't work there either, but I do get a bad content message.
Mimesis suggests some autoupdate but I don't have XBL.
I've tried in the game's root directory like the pc version, also with no luck.

I've already beaten the game many times but I still love the content the community provides. Is there any way to get modded content to the xbox or could someone point me to a good faq for modding without using the override folder ? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I never had it either, and after my last relationship, I don't even have my xbox anymore (or anything else I owned).
