I installed a Duo X2 blue chip on a 1.6 box last week. Also installed slayer`s 2.6 evox full install on retail. everything worked fine except I couldn`t ftp to the box using FlashFXP. The xbox is connected to a dlink router and I had no trouble at all ftp`ing with windows explorer, only with Flshfxp. Okay, so I read a lot of tuts and posts, and one of`em suggested I tried XBMC to ftp. I gave it a try, but I must have clicked somewhere wicked, cuz the box just rebooted. Only it didn`t, it just went fragging on me.

I checked every solder points on the LPC rebuild, D0, BT... everything checks out. Went through it with a magnifying glass and didn`t see any loose solder balls or shorted traces. I`m at a loss...

Did the chip just fried, or what?

Xbox Version: v1.6
360 version: v3.0 (falcon)

If all the connections are fine and it only happened after you clicked on something it sounds like you have managed to Flash?corrupt the bios. If your box is a 1.6 and you trashed bank 1 then you neeed to flash the chip an earlier version Xbox as bank 0 will not work with a 1.6
