Hai, I have a v1.6 softmodded xbox with unleash x, and a new HDD (F drive); I want to install linux on my xbox (preferably gentoox; or xdsl), I would like to install it as an app on my F:\ drive. I extracted the Stardust.iso, and then the distro.tbz2, I now have--->

gentooxx.xbe
initrd.gz
linuxboot.cfg
rootfs
sprked.gz
swap
vmlinuz

Where do I put these if I want to install linux as an app on my F drive???

i believe by default for gentoox on the root of the drive. you can toss it in a folder but you gotta edit the configs so they looks for the vmlinz and fs in that folder.
