Hmm this could be pretty cool... Could you wire the power wires from the xbox to trhe connectors on the power switch or sumthing of teh sort to have the box turn on when you flip the amp switch? Would be pretty cool and make it more stealthy cool.gif ph34r.gif cool.gif

you would probably have to replace the switch, but u could use a "flip" switch.

have you ever seen how airbags are wired up in a truck? well u need a switch like that. I am not really sure where to get them from, but i will look and try to get back to you.

here is the type of switch you would need:

SPDT Momentary Toggle Switch. (basically has a two directions u can push it).

here is a link: its model #: (SWT) TG3M-PCL-2
or this one would work to: (SWT) 7105-P3-D-V70B

http://www.surplussales.com/Switches/SWToggle-1.html

i would hook the "up" on the switch to power and the "down" to the eject. the special thing about the switch is that its momentary(meaning that it is only "on" when you are pressing on it, as soon as you release it, it goes back to the "off" position)

Woah thats a great idea. So if you flicked the switch up and let it go it wouldnt turn off right? You would have to flick it back up to have it turn off? And yeah thats a really good idea. I'm deff doing this for my next box, when I can find the time to finish Project Flybox. Gah it's killing me I have no time in my day grr.gif

yea that sounds about right. its a momentary switch, same as the one on the xbox now. its just in a different form. instead of pressing it, u flick it up. just like u press the normal power bottom to turn it on, and then press it again to turn it off... thats exactly how a momentary switch should work.
