Suddenly, all my three controllers (2 x orig + 1 x Controller S) don't vibrate like earlier in e.g. DoA III and Crazy Taxi III. The controller will vibrate, but much weaker than earlier and now with a weird sound coming out of the controller. I normally use only one of my controllers, so I don't think it's just the controllers being worn out. It's almost like the voltage used to drive the vibrator motors is too low.

First, I feared this was caused by my new HD, so I put the old one back in. This did not help. Has anyone experienced this? I would be happy for any help that could get my vibration back. smile.gif

I have a v. 1.0 Xbox with Matrix chip, Evox 2.6 BIOS and a Samsung 80 GB HDD.

pop out your volt meter, and see if the 12v and 5v rails are still normal. Just in case you don't know which is which, Black is GRND. Red is 5v. yellow is 12v
