Plan A - To wire the control board to the xbox to run with the xbox when turned on.

Plan B - To extend the wires of the control board to the back of the xbox and make it an external peice seperate from the xbox.

Plan A would kick ass. I have one tutorial im looking at http://hushedcasket.com/index.php/topic,1198.0.html to split the video and audo wire in the xbox to the screen. But if I can't figure it out I can make plan b look good. I know how to split the power of the xbox to the lcd so for plan A to work I need to figure out how to split the xbox's A & V to the screen.

Depending how good i cut the spuare out of the xbox depends if the screen will be slanted or not. Im doing more reading and later today I will cut the square and begin working on this project.

It took me all of 30 seconds to test mine and figure it out. The 2 blacks are grounds, the red is positive audio in for the right speaker, there are 2 white wires so your going to have to follow the traces to see which goes to which one, but one goes to positive audio in for the left speaker, the other is positive video in. Looking at your picture the wire colors look different, If they are different just follow the traces on the pcb to where they go, or use a multimeter to test continuity.

I went with plan b
IPB Image

I like it overall. The only thing i havent done is place the clear plastic peice on top of the xbox to protect the lcd. Im really proud of my case work. Fits well. The side bracket i have I had to cut out the plastic case that holds the hdd to make room and then drill holes in the side of the case for the power and a&v cables. The case in the front goes all the way down but in the back it lifts up about half an inch. I might make a plastic panel to cover it up.

hey whats up guys
I just got a PSone screen and was wanting to try this,I got a sony brand (the round one)but I am a little confused on the wiring. All my wires on the harnesses are white with a few blue wires here and there. After inspecting the board I can kinda make out what I believe to be L and R audio,Video and ground.does anyone have any experiance with these screens.

Any help would be great
Thanks
Shane
