Hi a mate fount a xbox and gave it to me, I dumped the nand via lpt and nandpro it was late and I only dumped it once (BIG MISTAKE) I opened it in 360 flash tool to see if it was exploitable to a jtag and unfortunatly it wasnt. So I desoldered the lpt and tried turning it back on to make sure it still worked but I got 4 red rings wich I later relalized was because I forgot to plug the av cable back in!! anyways I not realiseing that I decided to flash the dump back to see if I had somehow corrupted the nand. Without realiseing I hadnt dumped it twice to make sure had a good dump i flashed it back and tried it again and yep you guessed it I had 3 red lights with secondary code 0022 (could be bad dump) so now im stuck with a xenon board not vulnerable to jtag/rgh so I cant flash xell to grab the cpu, the nand can still be read and it still powers on is there anyway i can get it working again?? A mate mention the king kong exploit but from research it seems a bit outdated!! I also noticed a few people saying you can use a donor nand (got one) but I need my cpu key to do it. Can any one help or have I just turned it into a over sized doorstop!

I have tried asking on other forums but no one ansered so please if anybody knows anyway to revive it please please help. If you could point me to a tut or give steps it would be great im a quick learner so only really need a semi decent tut or something

I still have the originald dump (presumed corrupt), and I can solder so that isnt a problem. One idea I had but dont know if it would work is could I desolder a nand from another xbox and solder that up to it? Or would i get the key vault not match up further along the line or something? sorry for all the questions but I dont want to give up on it as have succesfully jtagged 4 360 before and rgh 2. This is the first time I messed up

if that dump is corrupt all you can do is use a donor nand and cpu from another xenon
the best bit about that is if you had an exploited/exploitable board say a soldering disaster you could make one 360 out of the two duds but it would need a cpu reball and nand transplant quite a lot of very skilled work smile.gif

cheers for the response. Thats what I was thinking but from what I have read I would still need my cpu key and inject it into the donor nand with my config.bin and kv.bin. I have a xenon nand with cb and cd 1888. But my xenon has already had the update makeing it cb 1923 cd 8453 which isnt vulnerable to the jtag hack so I cant inject Xell to grab my cpu key. So is it possible to somehow use the donor nands cpu key and somehow inject that into the nand chip (not sure if possible) to make the xenon think the donor nand is the original nand? Ifso could you point me to0 a tut as the onlly ones I fount about donor nands involves haveing my own cpu key

Since you don't have the CPU key the only fix is to remove the CPU and NAND from another Xenon and transplanting them. You can't use a donor NAND if you don't have the CPU key.

You need your CPU KEY, so you have to wait for xenon's RGH...

hmmm I dont have a spare xenon laying round so looks like its heading to the bin. I didnt think the RGH would be released for xenon because of the solder points or something?
