Just before I start to write a particular file, I get the following error message From XBC:

Video Failed. Data is missing.
PFI Failed. Unknown Data.
DMI is Valid!
Stealth Check Failed!
Do you want to continue?

If I do continue, will this backup work or not?

It might, but just use XBC to backup the game again. Better to be safe, than sorry.
