Okay so heres the deal. I want to get a rrod or an 'as is' box offline or from a friend that can be RGH'ed or JTAG'd..

Question is, what boxes can be rgh'd. I know all slims and all hdmi phats? No matter what dashboard?

Next question is what dahboards do phats gotta be on to do jtag to?

Thanks guys

With a limited few exceptions, all fat 360s with HDMI can be glitched.

I'd steer clear of any rrod systems. Sure you might get one cheap and fix it up, but then you glitch it and it'll die again and you'll be faced with constantly trying to repair it. My advice? Save yourself the headache and look into getting a phat Jasper due to the reliability factor.

Im actually trading my ps3 on cfw3.55 for a 256mb jasper rgh.. i think thats a good deal. Buddy says it hasnt rrod'd before and most likely never will.. why is it so reliable?

The Jasper model is the last hardware revision of the phat models, before they introduced the Slims. They worked out a lot of the issues that plagued the earlier models, but the most notable improvment is the chipset. The Jasper uses a 65nm cpu and gpu, which was scaled down from 90nm originally on the older models. What does this mean? Well in short... smaller chip, less heat, less power, less chances of board warpage and cold solder joints under the gpu which is the leading cause of RROD. smile.gif
