Hi,

Many quasi-newbie questions.

I modded my Lite-On drive with LT+1.1 early last year.
I ended up with an Xbox Dashboard update 14699 - It changed my DVD back to
original, so I modded it again - everything is working fine.

My son wants to go on XBOX Live - read many threads with differennt answers.
Can I go on live with any version of any software without issue, or should I
just go back to my factory Firmware to be sure ??

The XBOX hasn't been online since it was modded - Will a Dashboard update put my drive back to
" factory " condition, or do I have to flash it myself first ??

Thanks

As long as your on lt 3.0 you should be fine, but there is always the risk of getting banned.

Will updating the Dashboard via USB put my DVD
back to factory firmware, and will I be able to mod it again ?

No, MS pulled that stunt one time so far.
