I agree, thats a disc ruining waiting to happen. As far as cooling goes its fine except for maybe your psu, but for the sake of your games and your console move it to somewhere a lot more stable.

muhaha.gif Carpet holds heat, move your power supply off the carpet. That looks plain old dangerous, what happens if you bump it while your playing. DANGER DANGER ... tidy up dude, put everything on a smooth hard surface in an easily accessable spot. blink.gif
see the holes on the bottom of the Xbox on both sides? those are vents. none on the bottom, so ok if it stands vert.
You should show a pic of your TV, I love HD Toys.

thanx fr help, i had my ol box sitting on a book between my puter stand and tv stand. as u can see plenty of room but still a burnout happened.

lol yea i wasnt gonna use thse case i had sum other brases to keep it stable but it was hard to get a good picture showing the airspace up under it.

i als saw sum gadgets at EB that u sit ur box in and it had two fans that blew air int the 360 from the bottom.
dust worried me there tho.

thanx again,

if anybody else has any ideas plz post biggrin.gif

Why not just hang it from the middle of your room? huh.gif

People taking heating issues way to seriously.

Just don't put it were it is cluttered or around anything else that generates heat. Someplace with a little ventilation is nice. IE not in a closed cabinet.

if your 360 is having heating problems, its a defective box, mine, and many others 360's stay rather cool, after hours of playing my 360 isn't very warm at all..

i do agree, people are taking these overheating issues too crazy

if your box overheats, get it replaced.

I think you need 4 more cd cases, 2 in the front and 2 in the back.
