I was working on my arcade stick and I decided to remove the sticks. I started by removing the left stick and then addig the 4 resistors but the x axis is a little wacky, it is always pointing right and after I resoldered the resistors it started pointing all directions. I think i might have removed the soldering spot from the x axis but when I tried soldering a cable at an alternate point it didnīt work. Any ideas on how to fix this? Would cutting the traces from the x axis solve the problem?

If you've removed the Sticks and jacked up the traces cutting them up more isn't going to fix anything. You need to get the 4 Resistors (all the same value, 10K or so, long as all 4 are the same value) in there so the Analog lines stay centered. Without seeing exactly what ya did and knowing which controller you're working on no one is going to be able to help ya out too much.

Iīm working on a wireless controller, the non common ground. After examining the controller again I saw that non of the traces were broken, but the controller is still pointing down and right.
